Beautiful Brazilian girls are know to be bountiful in the most famous city in Brazil. Rio de Janeiro, in one word is, “sex”. There is a saying in Brazil, “people make money in Sao Paulo and spend it in Rio.” Rio de Janeiro is one of the few cosmopolitan cities in the world set in a tropical paradise. Rio is the city that exudes sexuality and conjures up thoughts of exotic beaches, sensuality, and skimpy bikinis.
Rio de Janeiro was the home of the 2016 summer Olympic games and is the second most populous city in Brazil. Carnaval boasts the biggest party on earth, with Cariocos partying wildly in the streets for almost 2 weeks. Let’s review specify all you need to know about dating beautiful Brazilian girls in Rio.
The Masculine Traveller Rating Guide
Attractiveness of local women: 3.75/5
Receptiveness to Daygame approach: 4/5
Receptiveness to Nightgame approach: 4/5
English Levels: 2.75/5
Located in the southern hemisphere, Rio is hot and humid during the summer with temperatures often reaching 100 degress F. The winter is cooler and more comfortable. However, you can still get in some quality beaches days, even in July and August as the temperature often reaches the high 70s F during the day.
Rio is one of the most dangerous cities in the world. This is not hype! Murders, robbery, and kidnappings do happen here. A gang of teenagers robbed me at knifepoint in the middle of the day on Copacabana beach.
I recommend the following:
• Stay in a safe neighborhoods
• Do not wear jewelry or a watch, even during the day
• Take taxis at night
• Read up on the most common scams in Brazil
You will most likely arrive in Galeao-Antonio Carolos Jobim International Airport, which serves all international flights. Santos Dumont airport services domestic flights. There are several flights per day between Sao Paulo and Rio, almost every hour in fact. Santos Dumont is close to downtown and a better airport to fly into from other Brazilian cities, if you have a choice.
For Taxi from the airport, I advise taking a “Radio Taxi” with booths located outside of the Customs area. The price will be between 100-130 R, which are prepaid. This represents your best option for taxi and significantly decreases your chance of being ripped off.
Rio de Janeiro is divided into zones. Most tourists stay in the Southern Zone (Zona Sul). The most well known neighborhoods are located in Zona Sul, consisting of the famous Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon. This is where you should rent an apartment.
All three neighborhoods are well situated areas. Copacabana is a mix of middle class and upscale Brazilians and tourists. The wealthy Brazilians and tourists live in Ipanema and Leblon (more wealthy). I prefer Ipanema between the three for its proximity to the best beaches and cafes. Located between Copabacana and Leblon, Ipanema is the best combination of the 3 neighborhoods. For the beach, the youngest hottest girls are usually between Posto 9 and Posto 10.
Barra da Tijuaca is an upscale suburb with great beaches and beautiful women. This is a neighborhood for upper middle class to wealthy Brazilians who prefer to live outside the city. I have stayed in Barra, but I was with Brazilian friends, and I do not recommend it for the Brazil Newbie. You will need a car and it is too far from where the action is. I do recommend a day visit for the beaches and malls for Daygame.
Buses and taxis are readily available. There is also a metro that runs from Zona Sul to Centro. Centro or Downtown is the historic center and financial center. Lapa, famous for Samba dance clubs is located in Centro.
The extremely poor slums, Favelas are located on the mountain slopes, sharing boarders with middle-class neighborhoods. The Favelas are riddled with drug and crime problems. They often are raided by the police. There are tours of the Favelas. Best to avoid in my opinion.
As previously discussed, you should rent an apartment in Copacabana, Ipanema or Leblon. Botafogo and Flamengo, are middle class, less touristy sections of Rio, and also solid choices.
Rio is one city that I strongly advise against staying in a hotel unless you are traveling with a girl. The hotel guest policies are unfavorable and they will not permit you to bring a guest to your room, unless you pay an outrageous fee.

English is not widely spoken. However, the upper class speaks English fluently. Portuguese is more difficult to learn than Spanish. If you have a solid Spanish foundation, your learning process for Portuguese will be easier. If you are fluent in Spanish you will be able to speak with Brazilians, as they will be able to adapt to Spanish quite well.
Learning Brazilian Portuguese will set you apart from the average Gringo. It will open doors to girls that you would not otherwise have opportunities with
I recommend the Pimsleur Learning Program for learning Portuguese
Cariocas exude sexuality. They define what we think of for beautiful Brazilian girls. Their sexuality is a natural expression of themselves. Despite, being devout Catholics, sex is not seen as something dirty or to be ashamed of. Instead, it is viewed as one of life’s great pleasures.
The women run the spectrum from blonde hair and blue eyes, to African; and everything in between. What they all seem to have in common are insatiably butts. Yes, the rumors are true!
In addition to their voluptuous bodies, Cariocas are exquisitely affectionate and feminine. They are open-minded, curious about the world, and easy to speak with.
I have had great success with BrazilCupid.com over the years, being able to score young, high quality girls, and beautiful Brazilian girls. However, do your due diligence. You will need to weed through some gold-diggers, pros and fake/scam profiles.
Brazilians are some of the most friendly people in the world. Girls are very approachable during the day. Brazilians often go to the beach in groups so you will need to be comfortable initiating conversations with an already established social circle. Malls are also great options for opening up girls during the day. Collecting numbers and setting up dates is quite easy. You will be surprised at how approachable and friendly the girls are. Your interactions with women will seem like natural conversations…no Game gimmicks are needed.
Rio de Janeiro’s nightlife is ever changing. Generally, nightlife runs Thursday through Saturday. It is surprising for a city with such a party reputation to have a dearth of options during the week. Admission for clubs can be quite expensive, easily running 100 R.
Even though Cariocas will hit bars and clubs in groups, they are open to being approached. If a girl likes you, kissing should occur in under 15 minutes. Physical escalation happens quickly in Rio. Brazilian men are approach animals in clubs, displaying the uttermost persistence and aggressive tactics.
I recommend the following venues:
Ovehla Negra a champagne bar in Botafogo with happy hour during the week. It is popular with the young professional crowd working in Centro. Get there early as it gets insanely packed.
Gavea not a venue but a neighborhood that has a strip of outside bars. This is the spot to start your Thursday evening. It is popular with students.
Sheenigan’s in Ipanema is historically a Gringo hunting ground. This was one of the best pick-up places, back in the day. As I mentioned, Rio’s nightlife is ever changing. It is well located in Ipanema and worth checking out. They have good food and live music.
Nuth in Barra d Tijua isUpscale club that attracts some high-end talent. There is also a strip of clubs close to it, incuding Buddha Bar.
Rio Scenarium: Famous Samba club in Lapa. If you have dance moves, this is your place. It is also the most famous club in Rio and a must see.
00: Located in Gavea, swanky indoor/outdoor club. 00 is popular with the locals.
Fosfobox: Located in Copa, known for its DJ’s, this is the place for a late night and young girls.
Tales of Rio de Janeiro decline as a premier destination for meeting women has some merit. Obesity has gone up and women have adopted more feminist attitudes. It is not the glorious city for men that it once was, but it is still a solid destination for meeting sexy, receptive, and friendly women, with a diversity of looks.
I have been to Rio de Janeiro12 times over the past 12 years. I have witnessed the financial and cultural changes over this time. However, the sensuality and friendliness of the women remains a constant. The glory days might be behind, but Rio remains the city closest to my heart for its warm vibrant culture, beautiful beaches, and exotic women with unmatched affection.
