Brazilian women marvel us with their exotic looks, friendly vibe and sexuality. I have spent more time in Brazil than any other county aside from the United States. Brazil – the country, the culture, and women are intoxicating and keeps me returning. No other country in the world exudes sexuality and openness like Brazil.
Brazil is the fifth largest country in the world. With over 200 million people, it is the largest country in South America. Due to its vast geographic dimensions, it’s culture is varied and diverse. Most travelers focus in Rio de Janeiro, but Brazil is so much more than its famous coastal city.
My first journey to Brazil was back in the early 2000s. Most of the knowledge of dating Brazilian women then was spread interpersonally. Blogs on International Dating, like The Masculine Traveler, were just in their infancy. Immersing myself in Brazilian culture and dating in Brazil was a life-changing experience. I never felt so much at home, outside my native country. I found Brazilian people and culture to be intoxicating in warmth, friendliness, and passion for living. I was hooked on Brazil instantly and immediately started to devise ways to return with more frequency and long durations.
Despite my satisfaction with Brazil, not all was easy in learning the ropes of dating. Dating in Brazil is very different than in the United States. The cultural forces make it quite a different experience. There was a learning curve than I needed to master. Despite some of the challenges, I fully embraced the journey and set sail of the most exciting period of my life.
I firmly believe that every man must visit Brazil once in his lifetime. With such beautiful women and a laid-back culture, why have so many men grown negative on Brazil? Over the past few years, trip reports on international dating blogs have painted a bleak picture of Brazil.
The reports would lead us to believe that Brazil has fallen from its once pinnacle as a paradise for men to a feminist wasteland filled with ugly and fat women. In fact, I have observed Brazilian women embracing tattoo and piercing culture over the past years. Every person has a unique perspective based on his experience. However, I firmly assert that Brazil is alive and well for men seeking feminine, beautiful women.
Perhaps the game has become more difficult and women have higher standards. Gone are the days of Gringos being an abject novelty to the Brazilian woman. Men need to adapt to their environment. Brazil has become more competitive. In response to these changes, this article will serve to provide the most effective strategies in successful dating of Brazilian women. But first, let’s discuss the unique attributes of Brazilian women.
The Physical Attributes of Brazilian Women
We all know that Brazilian women are legendary for their sexy and voluptuous bodies. The women from Brazil have garnered world-class reputation for their beauty. The stereotypical Brazilian woman has a dark complexion, long, dark hair, and an amazing ass. While the ass part is the single commonality of Brazilian women, their looks are much more diverse in reality.
Brazil is one of the most ethnically diverse countries in the world. Most are unaware that the largest population of Japanese outside of Japan are located in Brazil. Specifically, a large number of Japanese reside in Sao Paolo. The population is so large that a Japanese airline used to have direct routes from Sao Paolo to New York. The mix of Japanese and Brazilian blood makes some of the most uniquely attractive women.
In addition to the mixed Asian look, there is a large African influence in modern day Brazil. African slaves were brought to Brazil by the Portuguese. Their descendants make up a large portion of modern-day Brazilians. The African influence can be seen across Brazil but is predominantly concentrated in the northern region. Salvador, Bahia has one of the largest population of Africans outside of African. The Carnival in Bahia is legendary and is one of the best overall parties in Brazil.
Further north, the women have more of a native Indian look. The women in cities like Natal, Manaus, and Fortaleza are less voluptuous and have sharper facial features. This look contrasts greatly with the blonde beauties in the south. Immigration from Portugal, Germany and Italy centered around the southern coast in Brazil in cities such as Porto Alegre, Curitiba, and Florianopolis. The women in this region look much more European but have a flare of Latin personality. These women, I regard as some of the most beautiful in the world.
The Italian influence can be observed in Sao Paolo as well. Brazilians from this region tend to be shorter than in the south, with brown hair and olive skin. Of course, the mixing of all these diverse ethnicities has produced a uniquely beautiful population.
While beautiful on paper and in images, it is only possible to recognize the beauty of Brazilian women in person. They have an intangible sensuality that makes them even more attractive than their physical features. It is hard to describe in words and can only be properly experienced.
A Word on Plastic Surgery
Brazilian doctors essentially invented plastic surgery in the 1960s. While Brazilian women have cute faces, their bodies is what makes them legendary. Brazilian plastic surgeons have master the art of accentuating their already gifted bodies to make them more appealing. Augmented breast and butts are a matter of personal choice in men.
Brazilian women are naturally endowed with curvy butts, but their breasts are generally small. For this reason, I have observed that breast implants are the most common surgical procedure in Brazil.
Brazilian plastic surgery specializes in enhancing the body, while the United States is world renown for facial procedures. Nevertheless, Botox is catching on strong in Brazil. Maximizing one’s look through fitness, fashion and yes, surgery is a way of life inBrazil. Preferences for more natural, slim bodies are better observed in Russia.
Regarding the Personality of Brazilian Women
Brazilian women are some of the most fun I have encountered in my world travels. If you have grown tired of the sometimes arduous process of dating Eastern European women, like Ukrainians, then dating in Brazil will be a welcomed change.
The women of Brazil are opened minded. They have an openness related to new ideas, different cultures and varied ways of living. I have found Brazilians to be some of the least judgmental people.
Despite their Catholic influence, Brazilian women are free-spirited with regard to sex. This does not mean they are easy. Many men who perpetuate the myth of Brazilians women being easy to bed. This is likely due to them spending too much time with ladies of the night in Brazil. While kissing and physical affection developed quickly, sex with a normal Brazil woman takes a bit more time to occur than widely believed. Most Brazilian women seek long-term relationships and stability.
Family is at the cornerstone of Brazilian culture. Nothing is more important to a Brazilian girl then her family. Brazilian women often make great sacrifices in supporting their loved ones emotionally and financially, when possible.
Always respect the importance of her family and never make attempts to come between them, for whatever reason. A Brazilian woman will always choose her family over a man, and wisely so.
How Do They Compare with Other Women?
A quick breakdown of how Brazilian women compare to others:
- On average Brazilian women have the best bodies in Latin America. Second would be Dominican Women.
- Their faces on average are less beautiful than Argentinian and slightly less than Colombian women.
- On a whole, they are cuter than Peruvian Women.
- Their sexuality is not matched by any other Latina.
- They blow away the competition in Paraguay, Bolivia, Uruguay and Chile.
- Dating Brazilian women is much more of a natural process compared with the women of Ukraine and Russia. There is more of an easy flow and natural development of chemistry. Dating does not seem like work, as in Eastern Europe.
What do Brazilian Women Seek in Men
Brazilian women are romantic at heart. They seek genuine, traditional relationships. They have a strong appeal to passionate, sexual, and often times, dramatic relationships. Brazilian women are some of the most jealous women. Their expression of jealous is a strong indication of their interest in you. Brazilian men notoriously cheat on their women. In addition, competition to land a high valued man in Brazil is high due to so many hot women.
Let’s take a look at their specific preferences in men:
- Local men: Good-looking, socially calibrated and successful local men are at the top of the food chain. Culture and language are strong ingredients for any relationship. Brazilian women give preference to their own kind, as long as, this man can remain faithful. There is a significant portion of Brazilian women who only date Brazilian men. Conversely, there are those who only date Gringos. Be cautious of these women. The better option is for those who are open to both, seeking the best man possible.
- Gringos: This is a complicated subject. The Gringo factor is still strong in Brazil. However, it is a bit of a mixed bag. Brazilian women are generally open to dating outside of their culture and even race. However, they are often embarrassed if their man looks “too Gringo”. They do not want to be branded as a Gringo Hunter or a prostitute. Men who have stereotypical Gringo looks of blonde hair and blue eyes do very well with a niche of Brazilian women. However, many Brazilian girls prefer a man who can blend into her society more. Men of southern European backgrounds have the most appeal to the wider population of women in Brazil. Indian and Middle Eastern men who struggle in the United States, based on their ethnic look, will have much more appeal in Brazil. They fit into the average look much better.
- Social skills: Brazilian are the most social people I have encountered. Socializing with friends and family is at the cornerstone of their lives. Men who have adept social skills, understand different social contexts and display a sense of humor, have the right attributes in attracting Brazilian women.
- Common language: Speaking Portuguese is not a necessity, but it helps dramatically. Conversational Spanish is a second and almost equally effective element for being able to connect with them emotionally.
The following tips are based on over a decade of experience with dating Brazilian women:
Dating Tips for Brazilian Women
1. Leave Your Game at Home
I am a Game advocate; however, I take a Game minimalist approach in Brazil. Perhaps nowhere else in the world are the natural forces between men and women intact like in Brazil. Men are permitted to express their masculine self. It is socially acceptable to be a leader, pursue women and display competence.
Feminism has gained traction in Brazil; however, Brazilian men continue to express their masculinity and pursuit of women. Brazilian women, in turn, are still attracted to high valued men. Men who excel in looks, social standing, and displayed general masculine traits are held in high regard.
We tend to overcomplicate at times within the Game community. Get out of your “Game Head” and let nature take its course in Brazil. Routines, scripts and contrived storytelling are not needed.
Relax and let the laws of sexual nature take over. No need to invest time in telling rehearsed jones and storytelling. Chemistry and attraction developed quickly with Brazilian women. You should know very quickly if she likes you as a man.
2. Escalate Fast
Brazilian women are highly affectionate and sexual creatures. They are comfortable with their bodies and are able to enjoy carnal pleasures without guilt. Sex is a natural, pleasurable, and healthy activity in Brazil.
Brazilian women love to kiss. Escalation and kissing happen rapidly. If you meet a Brazilian girl in a bar, it is not uncommon to be kissing her within a few minutes. On the first date, you should be escalating within one hour.
Although kissing and touching occur very quickly with Brazilian girls, this does not always culminate in fast sex. The time frame of sex will depend on various factors such as chemistry, your looks, and logistics. Enjoy the seduction process with your Brazilian girl and the anticipation of the sexual culmination.
We are all products of our culture and environment to a certain extent. Brazilian culture has long-standing roots in the open expression of sexuality. In Brazil, men chase women quickly and aggressively. If you do not express your romantic intent through actions, a Brazilian woman will assume you are not interested.
3. Connect with Brazilian Women Emotionally
Brazilian women are generally open-minded and curious about the world. However, they are not logical thinkers like their Eastern European counterparts. Brazilian culture is predicated on socialization in groups and the enjoyment of the full range of human emotions. Brazilian women are highly emotional and connect with men through feelings.
Expressing your emotions with Brazilian women will not lose you points, as it will with American women. It is understood that men have emotions and they are not less masculine for their expression of feelings. Listen and attend to her feelings. Share yours when appropriate.
4. Maximize Your Looks
Many men may possess a faulty assumption that just showing up in a third world country without working their hardest to improve themselves will yield results. Brazilian women take great pride in their appearance and they expect the same in men. Brazil’s culture places a strong emphasis on physical beauty.
Style, fitness and attractiveness matter. Maximizing your appearance through fashion and developing a lean, athletic build will go a long way to attracting quality Brazilian women. Brazilian men care about their appearance. Work-Out culture is vibrant in Brazil. Men need to display healthy attractive appearance in order to ensure optimal success in Brazil.
5. Learn Portuguese
This is easier said than done, as Portuguese is not widely spoken outside of Brazil and Portugal. However, learning at least a few phrases in Portuguese will go a long way in differentiating yourself from other tourists. Conversational Spanish will also greatly improve your ability to communicate with Brazilian women, as the languages are very similar.
Because I am conversational in Spanish, I was able to pick up Portuguese much easier. My friend who is fluent in Spanish was able to carry out conversations without ever committing to learning Portuguese. He was able to control the conversations even without having great receptive language ability in Portuguese. For some reason, Portuguese speakers are able to understand Spanish much more easily than Spanish speakers understand Portuguese. Over the years, I have seen men who can speak either of these two languages elevate themselves in the Brazilian dating market, specifically due to their language ability. Learning the local language cannot be emphasized enough.
6. Create an Online Dating Account
Brazil is a wonderful country to spend time in, but it is far from home for most men looking to travel there. It is also a vast country with so many cities to explore, so travel between cities within Brazil takes time. Most men don’t have large amounts of time to spend in Brazil. Meeting Brazilian women online is a must-use tool for such men.
Brazil Cupid is the best online dating site for meeting Brazilian women. This site will put you in direct contact with thousands of Brazilian girls throughout Brazil who are in search of a relationship with foreigners. My experience of using BrazilCupid over the years, there are some real stunners on this site. While there are some fake accounts, the site administrators do a pretty solid job of removing them.
I suggest messaging girls on Brazil Cupid before you arrive in Brazil. The time you spend communicating with girls before you land pays off in spades. Starting communication prior to your arrival will help you develop rapport and established comfort.

My personal experience with Brazil Cupid
I first started using Brazil Cupid over ten years ago. Prior to that, I had experience with several other Brazilian dating sites, which were a waste of time.
Brazil Cupid has thousands of profiles, representing all of Brazil’s regions.
I was able to meet beautiful Brazilian women who had sincere interests in meeting men for a relationship. While not all of these encounters resulted in a relationship or even dating, I did meet some special women using this site. In the early days, I used Brazil Cupid prior to my trip.
On a few occasions, I had a pretty girl waiting for me at the airport upon my arrival in her city. While there is less of a Gringo Factor now, there are still thousands of girls on Brazil Cupid who have sincere intentions for finding a boyfriend or husband.
7. Make Friends
Brazilians are probably the most social people in the world. Nothing is as important to them as friends and family. Brazilians tend to spend a lot of time eating and drinking in mixed groups. I have found that making local Brazilian friends is well worth the effort.
Making friends will enhance your overall experience and you will even be introduced to other Brazilian women. I have found that Brazilian men are the best wingmen. They will go out of their way to set you up with their friends and they are always up for a good night out mixing it up with girls.
8. Adjust to Nightlife
Accept that nightlife is different in Brazil, for starters, it will take some time to learn which venues are the best for meeting women. Nightclubs fall in and out of favor quickly. The best way to discover the solid night venues is through trial and error.
Also to keep in mind:
- Nightlife in Sao Paolo is better than Rio.
- Nightlife during the week in Rio is dead.
- There is usually a cover charge for clubs and it’s not cheap.
- Girls go to nightclubs with a lot of friends (male friends as well).
- You have to be ultra-social to break into social groups at night. If you are the quiet, reserved type, stick to Online dating or Day game.
9. Always be Ready to Approach During The Day
You can meet sexy girls in Brazil at any time of the day. Literally, every day of the week is in play including:
- The Gym
- Juice bars
- Coffee shops
My friend is accustomed to saying, ” It’s always on in Brazil”. He is right. Brazilian women are just as approachable during the day as at night. They don’t need to drink alcohol to loosen up. They are the most positive and friendly people.
Brazilian women love being pursued by men. In Brazil, it is perfectly natural for men to aggressively approach women. It is perfectly fine to state your intentions directly and clearly that you are interested in a woman.
However, it is important to emphasize that there are different rules for Brazilian men and Gringos. Brazilian men can get away with a lot more. I have seen the most Caveman-like” behavior from Brazilian men in clubs. Gringos can be aggressive but not to the extent that local men can.
10. Learn from Brazilian Men
Brazilian men have the best Game in the world generally speaking. Gringos can learn a lot from how Brazilian men interact with women. Brazilian men:
- Do not fear rejection.
- Have an abundance mentality.
- Do not need to be wasted to talk to a girl.
- Approach women naturally.
- Are always direct with women about their intentions; therefore, they don’t get friend zoned.
- Do not use rehearsed lines of PUA gimmicks. They simply approach women they like.
11. Avoid Carnival
Some have the perception that Carnival is a giant sex-fest. While some Brazilian women turn into kissing-bandits, Brazil is better outside Carnival for getting hookups. Carnival is overly crowded and prices are jacked through the roof. Carnival also attracts way more men than women. At night, ratios are terrible. It is much easier to hook up with women outside Carnival season.
With the exception of the south, Brazil is warm all year around. My favorite time to visit in in the months of June through September. There are fewer tourists and the weather is more moderate. Consider visiting Brazil during the off-peak season to escape the touristy crowds.
12. Rent an Apartment
The last thing you want is to bring a Brazilian woman back to your hotel and have security turn her away. Hotels in Brazil have strict guest policies.
Make sure you rent an apartment to ensure privacy and no unwanted interference. Check AirBnB here for a private pad.
13. Choose the Right City
Brazil is one of the largest and most diverse nations on the planet. Everyone must experience Rio de Janeiro at least once in their life. Rio is the perfect starting point for your Brazil experience. It will provide you with an easier acclimation to navigating Brazil. Keep in mind that Rio is not the real Brazil. Would you generalize America based on a trip to New York? For a more authentic Brazilian experience, venture out of Rio. While in Rio, be sure to take a trip to Buzios to mingle with the elite Brazilians from Rio.
I strongly recommend that men consider other areas in Brazil. If you enjoy Nightlife, I highly suggest Sao Paolo. Sao Paolo has a bustling nightlife scene. Girls in Sao Paolo work and stay hard during the week. Select venues on the weekends are popping with gorgeous women. Paulistas are also less flaky and more reliable than Cariocas. They have a saying in Brazil, “Make money in Sao Paolo and spend it in Rio.”
Within the state of Sao Paulo, Campinas is a very underrated city. Your foreigner status will be super high here. For the most beautiful women in Brazil, consider a trip to the south of the country. Florinapolis and Porte Alegre will have some of the best talent, rivaling Russian women.
For darker women and a more laid back vibe, head to the north of brail to cities like Natal, Fortaleza and Recife. These cities will have beaches and boatloads of single women. Finally, Belo Horizonte receives a lot of hype from women. It is known to have some of the best ratios in all of Brazil. My Brazilian friend swears that the best women for marriage reside in Belo Horizonte.
The women in southern Brazil are regarded as the most beautiful in the country. Often blonde hair, blue eyed beautifies in the south are on par with top Russian women. However, they are colder and more reserved. They are also not as welcoming to foreigners. Success in the region will require a long stay to make social connections and develop a group of local friends.
14. Be on Guard
Be cognizant that Brazil is a violent country. Precautions need to be taken when visiting Brazil. It is recommended to skip on wearing jewelry and watches. In addition, taking taxis at night or hiring a private driver is worth the extra cost. With regard to women, make sure you lock your valuables in a safe before bringing any girl back home. Once you get to know a Brazilian woman, you can ease up on the safety precautions.
There are adept Brazilian women who specialize in meeting men at nightclubs, going home with them and robbing them. While these types of women are in the extreme minority, Brazil newbies should stay alert to scams in Brazil. I received the best piece of advice from a Brazilian woman – “If it is too good to be true, then there is a problem”.
As previously discussed, Brazilian women kiss very quickly, but they don’t necessarily have one-night stands as much as many men think. Be alert at night and don’t drink too much at night. Caipirinhas hit you hard. Stick to the local Brazilian beer.
15. Understand that History Influences Culture
Brazilians are carefree and live in the moment. Their history is marked by political uprisings, corruption, and instability. The chaos that Brazilian has experienced has left an indelible imprint on their culture. Brazilians enjoy living in the moment like no other culture. Tomorrow is uncertain and likely o be a roller coaster ride.
Brazilians are notorious for arriving late to social functions. In general, they are very poor planners and disorganized. The women if Brazil present as flaky. The flaky behavior in women is often assumed to be a lack of interest by men. It is very important to keep your options open until you are able to fully assess a woman’s interest in you.
This will take time with Brazilian women due to their unpredictability. I have found that the women in Sao Paulo and in the south of Brazil are less flaky than the beach culture products in Rio. Rio is a unique place. It is often generalized as Brazilian culture, where in fact Brazilian culture is much more nuanced.
In any event, Brazilian culture can feel very liberating at first to a Gringo. However, no culture is perfect and the flaky behavior of Brazilians can be frustrating. Try to adopt a flexible mindset. This will help you adjust to the flaky behavior of Brazilian women.
16. Understanding Brazilian Culture
Brazilians who live abroad harbor a deep melancholy for the absence of their culture. Culture is intimately at the heart of every Brazilian. Family, culture, food, and friends are all essential components to a fulfilling life in Brazil. For Gringos, recognizing that they will never be Brazilian is important. However, unlike many other cultures, Brazilians will welcome you in with open arms if you embrace their culture.
One way to embrace the Brazilian way of life is to enjoy its music. Choro, samba and bossa nova are distinctively Brazilian. There are vast opportunities to learn about this music and style of dance in Brazil. Lapa in Rio is a great neighborhood to immerse in Brazilian music.
In addition to culture, it is important to understand that Brazil is the only country in South American that has Portuguese as its official language. Many tourists have the misconception that Brazilians are Hispanic. This assumption may offend a Brazilian. Brazil is a melting pot with a varied of cultures and races. Racism is a sore topic of conversation in Brazil. While open-minded and nonjudgmental, it is hard to not recognize that race plays an important role in Brazil.
Most of the wealthy Brazilians are Caucasian, while Brazilians of African descent are generally more economically disadvantaged, often living in poverty. These racial differences are not brought up a lot openly in Brazil. it is best to stay clear of this topic, but it is important to be aware of the subtle racial tensions.
Brazilian Women in Long-term Relationships
While I have not been married to a woman from Brazil. I was in a long-term relationship with a wonderful Brazilian woman. The relationship was great for most of its duration, eventually ending due to wanting different things in life. Through this experience I concluded the following about maintaining a healthy relationship with a Brazilian woman:
- Reassure her: Provide her with lots of physical and verbal reassurance. A Brazilian woman needs to be reassured constantly of your love and affection. You will need to demonstrate that she is the love of your life. They have a romantic conception of what love is. They all search for the “True Love” story. Don’t be afraid to express how important she is to you. You won’t appear weak for your expression of love.
- Meet her family. As previously mentioned, the role of her family cannot be emphasized enough. If you are serious about her, make arrangements in spending holidays with her family. This will signal to her that you have a genuine inters in a long-term relationship.
- Don’t cheat. Brazilian women have been cheated on by their local boyfriends. Infidelity is rampant in Brazilian men to such as extent, that is is assumed they are on the prowl for other women. I have found that Brazilian girls have a higher peculation for Gringo boyfriends. They expect Brazilian men to cheat but not their boyfriend from aboard. Having highly developed instinct for socialization, she will feel it intuitively if you cheat. If you aren’t prepared to commit, then don’t lead her on about your seriousness. Leave her in a better position than she was prior to meeting you.
- Relocate: Brazilian women have a hard time with long distance relationships. She will need to be near her man. This hard and long if you want her as a wife or long term girlfriend. If you do, then one of you must move eventually. Otherwise, the relationship will crumble. I have seen it all too many times with these types of relationships in Brazil. The distance proves to be too much of a barrier.
- Don’t over complicate things: The beauty in Brazilian culture is they are not over-complicated. It does not take a lot for a Brazilian woman to be happy in her relationship. They are much less complicated than Eastern European women. Follow the above guidelines to maintain a healthy relationship. Don’t over think arguments. Brazilian women are dramatic and jealous. Let her express this feeling and after reassure her of your committed. Thats all they want to hear.
Conclusion on Brazilian Women
